Innovative Foods Limited (IFL) is a major player in the Indian food processing industry since 1989. Under the brand name 'Sumeru', they manufacture and market various types of ready to eat vegetarian, non-vegetarian which includes sea food. Customized products are supplied to various leading food service companies in India.ILF's core business lies in the area of import, export, trading and manufacturing of processed and frozen food. CHALLENGES IFL needed to integrate their all warehouses activities together into one system. IFL needed a partner offering not only software development and testing, but also the capability to support the company by end customer acceptance testing support, onsite training and maintenance.
SOLUTIONS
We've done detailed study about above requirements in different ways- including so many customer site visit and meetings. Then we had developed an architecture which was an incorporation of various technologies which suited for the scope of the project as well as production environment. Dashboard is a critical part of tracking daily activities like storage, despatch and receipt in the warehouse. Manages can take more faster decisions since system providing real time data. This is particularly useful when users needed to have current system status as well as old data.
The ageing and stock reports in excel are very helpful for certain purposes like auditing. We implemented module for integration with IFL's Tally ERP solution. It reduced mannual work to Tally and increased the production speed.
WMS enables the user to pick the product immediately from the corretc bin in the time of dispatch. Binwise storage reports provies proper tracking of each item in store

Warehouser Management System managing different locations of IFL, including manufacturing unit at Kochi, warehouse hub in Banglore and 10 other warehouse LIMITATIONS No synchronization without internet Since database server is a cloud based system, for up to date report, internet connection is essential. Eventhough, the system will be stable at every location with the help of offline support. The cold storages must have stable wireless access point which ensured smooth workflow.
